Account & Data Deletion Instructions

ShotShield stores your health profile, dose logs, meal scans, water logs, and weight history on your device using SwiftData, with no mandatory cloud account required.

Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open ShotShield and navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete All Data, then confirm.
  3. All local SwiftData models (UserProfile, DoseLog, MealScan, DailyLog, WeightEntry) and the App Group widget snapshot are permanently deleted from your device immediately.

Server-Side Anonymous Identifier Deletion

To purge your anonymous RevenueCat App User ID or Cloudflare KV daily scan quota record, email privacy@shotshield.app with the subject line Delete Subscriber Record (optionally including your anonymous App User ID shown at the bottom of ShotShield Settings). We process all deletion requests within 7 days.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I add the ShotShield Half-Life & Protein Widget to my Lock Screen?

Long-press your iPhone Lock Screen → tap Customize → select Lock Screen → tap the widget frame below the clock → select ShotShield. Choose either the circular level ring (.accessoryCircular) or the rectangular summary (.accessoryRectangular) showing your estimated medication level %, daily protein progress, and next dose day.

What do the 6 metrics on the Score Card mean?

Every metric on a ShotShield Score Card is scored 0 to 100 where higher is always better (70–100 Emerald, 40–69 Amber, 0–39 Red): PROTEIN, NAUSEA SAFETY, SULFUR SAFETY, FIBER, CARB BALANCE, and HYDRATION. Tap Sources (ⓘ) beneath any card to inspect the underlying peer-reviewed PubMed, USDA FoodData Central, and FDA DailyMed citations.

What happens if I scan a meal with weak cell reception or offline?

ShotShield saves every captured meal photo locally as pending before making a network request. If your cellular connection times out (after 12 seconds) or you are offline, ShotShield queues the meal and automatically analyzes it when your network returns—or you can tap Log manually now at any time.

Does ShotShield recommend when to increase my GLP-1 dose?

Never. ShotShield is strictly an educational nutrition and dose-logging companion. It never recommends a medication dose, titration change, or injection timing adjustment. Always consult your prescribing physician.
